Project overview

The proposed Yamba Library and Community Centre is a new facility to be located in the heart of Yamba’s commercial strip and providing a diverse range of community focused services. Conceived by Clarence Valley Council (CVC) as a way of bringing together a number of Council operated facilities under one roof, the building offers a library, community function spaces, meeting rooms and small art gallery. The single storey design embraces the climate and context of Yamba, integrating indoor and outdoor spaces with the plan focused around a central courtyard.
